Miley Cyrus- The Teen Diva
The teen icon Miley Ray Cyrus-a sensational singer on stage, an actor for television audience and a teenager like anyone else when off the stage. She is best known for appearing as Hannah Montana in Disney series, Hannah Montana. The pop star broke the record of her peers, Olsen twins who earned $16 million in 2007 and collected a massive $18 million in one year.
The young star was ranked as the 17th richest under-25 in the US by Forbes magazine, with an average annual earning of $ 3.5 million with the help of her roles in TV serials, movie, concerts and albums. The star has also a waxwork at Madame Tussauds in New York City among the few big stars from all over the world.
Everyone wants to have a rock star’s lifestyle but only few get this fortunate chance. Miley is one of them. Striking balance between the stardom and normal life for the celebrities is not as smooth as it seems. Being a mere teenager only she has achieved glorious fame across the globe which is really remarkable. The huge fan following explains the rest of the story of her flourishing career.
Achieving such heights she definitely deserves to hold the “magnificent teen-icon” tag in front of her name.
Every day was new, every day had a new purpose, every day had amazing thrill stored in it which gave a rational or rather logical explanation to wake up early in mornings (which is the last option on anybody’s list) and getting ready for ‘School’. Those were the carefree days where every spot encountered different characters –the popular kids, the football team, the losers (as they were called so), the hot cheer leaders, the nerds, the psycho’s, the not-so-trendy-and-fashion-disasters, the flattering and charming teachers and the special somebody for whom the heart skipped a beat.
The innovative and inspiring prank kept in store for the new classmate, the most famous Ten Commandments to get a girlfriend, the excitement of inter-school basketball championship, the spelling-bee competition with no audience for past ten years or the embarrassment of being bullied by some show off, every body had his or her days. Few regret with a valid reason but most of us embrace those days and cherish the fun.
As it is very well known, being a teenager is not easy and tackling serious problems being one, is a complete catastrophe. But yet as ‘the teenagers’ we knew it all hence solutions were found by bets, secret missions, gossips, dates, crying ,laughing, hiring detectives who would be one of the closest buddies and doing everything possible apart from the finding the real solutions.
The place where everyone had once gone and will continue the tradition for ages ahead will be a sacred space for all the students storing absolutely enthralling and most wanted memories in their hearts for the life time.

SMS - MISLEADING THE DIALECT?
“Hve u dne d assmnt gvn by r mth tchr……if nt wn r u goin 2 cmplt? Mah 2nd assmnt z abt 2 end .rply asap”. No, this message has not been received from any alienated source. This is the language of generation “X” most commonly used by perhaps every single teenager while they are sending a sms.
So, is really sms language destroying the English language by using inappropriate construct of words? The answer as usual, has been divided into two parts according to the mindset of society. One of course, is in favour and the other opposes the notion completely and strongly. But not only as a teenager but also as an adult I won’t agree to the fact that sms language has affected the quality of English. Youngsters have been using the short, precise and rather fast way to process their information which is clearly understood by the receiver at the other end. Does it highlight the fact that the receiver and the sender do not have accurate knowledge about English language? Even an editor of a renowned magazine, uses the same construct of sentences as a teenager, when he/she is stuck in traffic jam and want to report an urgent message to the employee. It does not make that editor unfit to use the language in his editorial section read by billions of population daily!
Today each and every work has to be accurate and as fast as possible. The method and use of secondary communication hardly is a concern until the final result is a success. Whenever this topic is brought into limelight, why only youngsters are targeted throughout the discussion? A college or school going student using sms language with wrong grammar is the same person writing for the institution’s magazine with flawless and creative use of the dialect. It is the expediency that counts which enhances the possibility of a result to reach its destination as soon as possible.
