Important Facts About Your Skin

Skin is one of the most important 5 sense organs in human body. It is the outer covering of our body, it is the largest organ and is made of several layers called epidermis. It`s main functions are to guard the delicate internal organs like liver, bones, muscles etc. It is the only organ in the body that covers the most area; it also weighs about 2.72 Kg.

Skin does many operations to keep up with all the outer conditions of the body. Skin protects the body from dehydration and prevents the loss of water. Skin can turn cold or warm any time depending on the surrounding environment. It has the biggest number of neurons sending constant signals to the brain about pain and also sending commands of the work of muscles.

Skin pigmentations in humans have a wide range from being oily to being dry. Skin put out the waste in forms of urea and sweat. Sweating keeps our body temperature regulated all the time and gets rid of any unnecessary water in our body.

Known skin problems:

Rashes of skin can happen because of bacteria and fungus or sometimes because any allergy to one or various kinds of foods or things. Skin rashes can take the form of blister or become an itchy red rash. sometimes it can be very painful and sometimes it can be mild.

Dyshidrosis as a skin condition that happens on hands and feet can be acute or chronic depending on the time it may take to heal. It shows as small blisters and it is recommended to keep away from persons having this on their hands during a big gathering like weddings and ceremonies. It can also result in bad sweating.

To keep your skin healthy and clean you should use cleansers of known brands approved by health authorities in your country. You should also read the package instructions and take all the steps to make a good use of the product keeping your skin clean.

Keeping Skin Problems at Bay

No matter how many ton of make-up you apply or how many costly products you buy or spend huge money in beauty parlors for expensive skin treatments, the skin troubles are deeper than you think. Working on the periphery is definitely not the solution. By knowing what are the remedies or rather the preventions, you can bestow yourself with a healthy feeling flawless looking skin.

Well balanced diet and healthy lifestyle are the main mantras that shouldn’t be forgotten. Mandatory! Any distortion in the sleeping pattern will be immediately reflected on your skin. While we are in sleep, all the damage caused by pollution, dirt etc is repaired. So, good amount of sleep is required. Water,again works as a magic potion. Daily eight glasses of water can wash away harmful toxins from the body. Intakes of vitamins are really essential. Where vitamin A can prevent you from dryness and ageing, vitamin B improves blood circulation and skin color while vitamin C can also do wonders by providing essential component collagen which heals the skin very quickly. Alcohol, drugs and smoking are a big no.
