The Grammy Award-nominated American rapper, record producer, and actor, Snoop Dogg is desperate to get back to UK and has called in the big guns to help him fight the ban.

The hip-hop legend was arrested for involvement in a brawl at London’s Heathrow Airport in April 2006 after he along with his friends was refused an entry into British Airways’ first-class lounge. He was consequently banned from entering UK for three years. Following this the rap star also had to call off his joint mega-tour with P Diddy.

But now, a ‘desperate’ and ‘reformed’ Snoopy is banking on his superstar pals Sir Paul McCartney, David Beckham and Madonna to fight his case.

“I love London and I’m desperate to come back. I’ve called David Beckham, Sir Paul McCartney - hell, I want to get the whole of the Beatles to help me get back in. I’m trying to get through to Madonna as well. I’d love them all to write to the Prime Minister to change his mind”, said Snoop. In a hope to gain support, the superstar has also urged his admirers to support his plea.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie have been granted a preliminary divorce after 8 years of marriage and two children; one of them being adopted. At London’s High Court Madonna signed the divorce papers on the basis of Ritchie’s which she quoted as “unreasonable behaviour”, with the couple reaching an agreement over their assets and children.  

In a case that wrapped up in a few minutes, both Ritchie and Madonna avoided getting into expensive courtroom drama and have agreed to share custody of their sons. Moreover, Ritchie has also made an official statement that he would not take a penny form his ex-wife although he is entitled up to half of her 300 million pound fortune. Madonna and Ritchie, who married in December 2000, have provided fine tabloid fodder for England, where they lived. The couple have two children, Rocco, 8, and David Banda, 3, adopted from Malawi in 2006. The singer has a daughter, Lourdes, from a previous relationship.
