After an overdose of tranquilizers, Winona Ryder had to have her stomach pumped. Recovering from her illness, she looked in good shape as she attended a fashion show in Madrid. In a ravishing red evening gown, she looked splendid as she collected an award at the Marie Claire Fashion Awards.

Scared of heights, she had tried to soothe her nerves with an overdose of Xanax, an anti-anxiety pill. Winona was then rushed to the hospital after she collapsed in the flight in London. The plane had to have an emergency landing due to her situation at Heathrow for her treatment. Her publicist told the press, “She did fall ill on a plane and as a precautionary measure they took her to hospital.”
