If I don’t do every survey you send me,
Will you hold it against me
Or forgive me my small lapse in judgement
And my slight forgetfulness of what is important!
Will you forgive me my mistakes
And applaud my accomplishments?
Will you leave me when I am being dumb and selfish
Or will you stand by me through these moments
Realizing that there is probably something I am dealing with
That is causing me to act differently?
I ask this because you are my friend
But I want to know if you are my sunshine acquaintance
Or if you are my cloudy day friend?
