Al-Qaida Targeted
Recently Admiral Mike Mullen, the chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff declared a statement which emphasized on complete eradication of the existence of Al Qaida leadership residing in the federally-administered tribal areas (FATA) of Pakistan. Al-Qaeda, alternatively spelled Al-Qaida and sometimes Al-Qa’ida, is an islamist terrorist group, targetting civilians and disturbing the peace and harmony of various countries. The most devastating destruction by Al-Qaida was 9/11 in 2001 which completely shook the world to its roots. More than 3000 people lost their life without a reason.
On December 29, 1992, Al-Qaida’s first terrorist attack took place as two bombs were detonated in Aden, Yemen. The first target was the Movenpick Hotel and the second was the parking lot of the Goldmohur Hotel. Suicide attacks and simultaneous bombings of different targets are the common techniques followed. Al-Qaida has been responsible for thousands of life and labeled as terorists organization by more than 17 nation. War against terrorism has become the prior initiative of every nation to secure it’s people from unjustified death and mass destruction.
Jihad followed by Al-Qaida’s members, considers killing of bystanders and civilians as a holy deed and not as a sinful act. It is said to be religiously justified. The donations contributed to this organization crosses a toll of million of dollars which fulfill the requirements for ammunition, basic requirements like food, shelter, cloths, unauthorized -camp management, base camps dueling hundreds of Jihadi’s at one place.
Truly it is very well said, terrorism has no religion and no caste.
